Hello friends :) this week on Shanked It we have a very special guest co-host - Laura Bainbridge. Laura is a fellow-teacher and her childhood footy memories involve her squished between Michael Gudinski and Molly Meldrum - two avid St Kilda supporters so she had no choice but to follow suit. AFL season is actually starting this weekend with round 1 kicking off at the MCG so we discuss what exactly Australia Rules Football is before launching into the headlines: the fallout from Jimmy Webster’s dangerous bump on Jy Simpkin and Al Clarkson’s reaction, Red Bull’s domination at Bahrain and Sally Fitzgibbons misses out on a spot at the Paris Olympics.
